Since 2009, Red Rock Doodles has committed to breeding high quality multigen Standard size Australian Labradoodles that are not only adorable, but genetically and structurally sound. We continually strive to improve upon our breeding to meet the highest standards as set by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) for the ALD. We have also been vetted and recognized by GoodDog (www.gooddog.com) as meeting their exceptional breeder standards.
The Australian Labradoodles (ALD’s) registered by the Australian Labradoodles Association of America (ALAA) have undeniable charm but it’s their lineage that truly sets them apart. Our breeder bloodlines are multigenerational, with decades of verified pedigrees and health testing spanning generations.
These pedigrees and health credentials from multigenerational ALD’s ensure our Doodles are engaging and quick learners with a friendly disposition. Whether being a family companion, a service dog, or a therapy dog, they will have the breeding that promotes strong characteristics needed to fulfill their role. Plus, their low allergen qualities make them a breath of fresh air to bring joy without compromise to owners and dog lovers with allergies. ALAA registered Australian Labradoodles (ALD’s) are truly the perfect match for any owner and have the pedigree to prove it!
We have focused our breeding program on standard size Australian Labradoodles (ALD’s) which allows us to better refine structure, obtain consistency in temperaments and reduce incidence of certain health issues with far greater precision. Standards offer the most stable orthopedic outcomes, the most reliable service- and therapy-dog temperaments, and the athleticism families love. Specializing in one size class also lets us refine our lines with intention and integrity.
We typically have only one to two (1 – 2) litters per year so that we can dedicate ourselves fully to each litter and provide the individual attention necessary to ensure each puppy has the best start in life.. Standard size Australian Labradoodles are typically 21 – 24″ at the shoulders and can weigh 45-65# at maturity. While not all puppies are suited to therapy and service work, we have helped many clients select a therapy/service-suited puppy to fit their individual needs.

At Red Rock Doodles, we are a dedicated small hobby breeder specializing in multi-generational authentic Australian Labradoodles—a breed known for its intelligence, loyalty, and loving temperament.
Unlike early-generation Labradoodles, the Australian Labradoodle (ALD) has been carefully developed over more than four decades to achieve consistency in temperament, coat type, size, and health. With lineage rooted in the Labrador Retriever, Poodle, and Cocker Spaniel, the ALD has become a breed in its own right—celebrated for its balance of athleticism, intuition, and companionship.
These dogs are truly exceptional. The ALD combines a gentle, affectionate nature with keen intelligence and a low-shed, allergy-friendly fleece coat—qualities that make them ideal as therapy or service dogs, as well as beloved family companions. They thrive on human connection, are highly trainable, and love to be part of every adventure, whether that’s a morning walk, a mountain hike, or a relaxing evening at your side.
Living between the red rocks of Sedona, Arizona, and the mountain trails of Colorado, our dogs grow up surrounded by nature, activity, and love. They enjoy hiking, swimming, and simply being your “shadow”—loyal, intuitive, and always ready to join in whatever the day brings.
We are conveniently located in Sedona, AZ (just one hour south of Flagstaff and under two hours north of Phoenix) and spend part of the year traveling in Colorado where our guardian partner lives near Colorado Springs. We offer flexible delivery options, including puppy nanny services and airport meetups. Of course, we always welcome visitors—come meet our Red Rock Doodles in person and experience the magic of Sedona!
