If you are a dog-lover, and you must be since you are here, your dog is more than a pet. He/She is a member of your family! I have trained and raised Labrador Retrievers since I was 18. There was Brandi, Bitter, and Bacardi followed by Jesse and then Prada, a released Canine Companion which my daughter Bailey and I raised.
I have loved all my labs for their wonderful personalities, loving nature and unwavering companionship they provided. My husband Tom has always said our lab Prada would be the perfect dog “if only she didn’t shed.” She is, and has always been, the “perfect dog” despite the fact she shed at least one of herself every week! If you have ever been or are a lab owner, I am sure you can relate.
Unfortunately, my son and my husband’s children showed signs of allergies to dogs and we decided to do some research on non shedding dogs. Thus began my quest to find a “Labrador that didn’t shed.” Few options for non-shedding large breed dogs existed at that time. The Labradoodle was found to be the perfect blend of personality, intelligence, sweetness and enthusiasm along with a low-allergy low-shed fleece coat!
As our program has evolved since 2009 when I began breeding, Red Rock Doodles has limited its breeding to only high quality Standard size Australian Labradoodles that are not only adorable with intuitive service-worthy personalities, but also genetically sound. We strive to continually improve upon our breeding to meet and exceed the breeding standards as set by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) for the ALD. We are also recognized by GoodDog (www.gooddog.com) as meeting their exceptional breeder standards.
We have been fortunate to have bred puppies with the temperament and qualities required by service organizations. We are proud of our commitment to breed quality labradoodles and donate a puppy to a service organization each litter.
